How do I use the Celtel SMS service?

To use the Celtel SMS service all you need to do is create (compose) a message on your cellphone and type in the keyword for the information they want to retrieve. Keywords are published in the press and on our SMS Info page. For example, to get news type 'News' and send it to 888.

How do I get a ringtone for my phone?

To download a ringtone for your cellphone, type ringtone and the code assigned to it or the name of the tone that you want and send it to 655. For example, 'Ringtone 212' or 'Ringtone Walimbikila'. You can find more information about this on our ringtones page.

Which phones do the ringtones work on?

The ringtones currently only work on Nokia phones.

How do I get a logo for my cellphone?

To download a logo onto your cellphone, type logo and the code assigned to it and send it to 655. For example, send 'Logo 20012' to 655. You will receive a message on your mobile phone stating ' logo received'. The logos that are available are shown on our logos page.
